Happy New Year!

Unbelievable... It's twenty-ten. So what's a kid to do??? ParTea! ParTea! ParTea! Have a great year!

Austin's "Superhero" ParTea

Before I can officially say Happy New Year... I must first backtrack a bit and mention my son's Superhero ParTea for his 5th birthday!!!! His birthday is at the beginning of December... And after Thanksgiving the time just seems to fly by soooo quickly.

We had so much fun with this theme. This is a picture of me and my son AFTER the party. Boy, were we pooped! I needed a Super Nap! :D

Every little boy (and girls too) love the idea of being a superhero with mystical powers. And there are plenty of characters to chose from -- Spiderman, Batman, the Power Rangers... just to name a few 'cause I can go on and on.

From taking the Superhero Oath to catching the bad guy (Thanks! Uncle Justin), all of the party guests had a SUPER time. They even got to stuff their own Super Dogs! Every Superhero needs a side kick! To see more pictures of this party, please visit my new photo gallery at http://makebelieveparteas.shutterfly.com/

From the plush robes and flip flops to the soothing music and scented candles, this Girly, Girl Spa-aah! ParTea is sure to be loads of fun.

And what girl wouldn’t want to be treated to a mini “mani/pedi” and facial with a few of her BFFs (Best Friends 4-Ever)??? For more info, please visit my website at www.makebelieveparteas.com

Mariyah's American Idol Party

Ryanetta Seacrest here! Mariyah celebrated her 8th birthday with an American Idol theme party. This party was truly a blast. First of all... the birthday girl was SURPRISED by her friends and family. She knew she was having a sleepover... but not in a hotel suite -- Way to go Mom! Anyway, the contestants had to "try-out" acapella style before being told You're Going to Hollywood, Baby! Then on to the dress-up room to get all made up for the show. Don't they look great? Each girl got to choose & perform her favorite hit tune (this time to music). So who's the American Idol? The results are being tallyed as we speak... America! It's up to you to choose... you're next American Idol!

Coming Soon ~ ParTea Animal Workshops

My, how time flies! It just occurred to me that I haven't posted to my blog in ages. I thought I'd take this moment to briefly mention the addition of "ParTea Animal Workshops" aka Stuff Your Own Teddy Bear! And actually... it's soooo new that I haven't had time to update my website with the info yet.

No more running out to the mall... The Make Believe ParTea Company
will bring all of the fun and excitement of stuffing a plush animal to YOUR location. Each guest will get to select a 15" Teddy Bear or Furry Friend then stuff it by hand with special fluff. I don't want to give away all the fun just yet... but each child is bound to have a blast creating their new Best Friend!!! And what an awesome party favor to take home. I can "Bear-ly" contain my excitement.

Website launching soon!

Hi, all.

Today I discovered Hobby Lobby... and I am in love. It's Michaels Crafts Store on steroids! Who knew?!?!? Anyway, I am getting ready to publish my new website. Seems as though I've been working on it "4-EVER" (said with attitude and eyes rolled to the sky - LOL!). Just a couple of "under construction" pages... but overall, it's ready to go. I'm so excited. I'll be linking this blog to the site in the "About Us" section.

One of my very own ParTea-goers just had her 8th birthday -- that would be my daughter Joelle. The evening started with a trip to the local movie theatre to check out HSM3 (Great movie BTW...hmmm, a new theme party???). Anyway, it ended with a "Surprise" sleepover at my home with her BFFs. Speaking of BFFs... in order to keep the sleepover part as a surprise, we (my friends and I) had to trick them as well. So the evening ended up being a "Surprise" all the way around for the birthday girl and guests. My son (Austin, age 3 & 11/12ths - his bday is next mth) enjoyed it too.

TaTa 4 Now!
